Ya know, except substituting soldiers, weaponry & carnage for two opposing teams of lightly armored dudes, and a ball that essentially also represents the overall progression of each skirmish, with the points acrued for each skimish 'touch down' ultimately adding up to prove the outcome of each military campaign, or, 'game', with a victor & a defeated....(?)
