Would you agree the lack of a reckoning with capitalism is driving people further into the online fringe stuff?

We can easily see why a system that only serves to keep the ROI on capital investment sufficiently high is surely doomed to fail and unresponsive to our material existence. We can all intuitively grasp this having even a very basic feel/understanding of interest and how it works in our lives. And even if you have a terminal case of capital brain poisoning, anyone can understand how this system will break down for the average man that is coming with the exponential growth of automation and artificial intelligence this century.

So with this very basic crisis and contradiction of capitalism in mind, and the overwhelming cultural conditioning of capitalism = good that is inflicted especially on us Americans, how do we see this all playing out with regard to the online world?

For my money inane conspiracy shit will seem to fill the lack of critical thought on what's staring us in the face. What do you think?

The TDS is quite strong in OP... pics of Trump w/ every post? What a weirdo.
I don't give a shit about politics .. it's all theater.

Both parties are neolibs, both are captured by capital, both fully support the imperialism of our military that props capitalistic hegemony , both will run us into the ground at the behest of capital

I do enjoy smileys

I agree wtih you on the first 2.5 sentences.

So let's get to the next step(s).

1. What is your definition of capitalism?
2. What is your alternative proposal?

I guarantee you live closer to a place like this than I do, you fucking neutered cuck
Capitalism is not your enemy, and it is not cultural brainwashing. It is the basis for the American Dream. Capitalism has been around since the beginning of man. You succeed by producing something, selling it, and providing for yourself and your family. If you work hard, you have more, if you work less, you have less.

What do you propose is better than capitalism? Socialism and Communism are essentially producing for everyone. You get no reward for working hard, only punishment for not working hard. That creates a society of underperforming disgruntled working class.

I don't know what AI will do to society. But, if history is any indicator, it is likely that it will be a tool to create more work for the society. Until it takes over and we all become batteries.

Both parties do suck horrendously, I agree with you 100% on that. Hence why the MAGA movement was so strong and will continue.

capitalism is the air we breathe and water we live in. There is no shame in not understanding it, does a fish know what water is?

The Dutch had a pre-capitalist system, growing specialty crops to be sold on a market, but manufacturing did not happen at a scale to allow capital to dominate the economy. This changed in England with the industrial revolution wherein capital became the dominant class. Wherein capital accumulation happened to such a point that capital holders could form large companies and pay hourly wages and usurping the previous power brokers of the church/King/Lords etc. Because things become cheaper per unit to manufacture at scale this class was able to become the dominant class in society. Using various tools like vicious colonialism, stolen labor from slavery, wage slavery, to imperialism this capital class is still the dominant class in our society despite massive leaps of technology which logic very plainly tells us should have rendered them obsolete

well anyway just remember folks, as people look to find the root of the moral, economic, and ideological rot in this world and cannot point the finger at the elephant in the room of capitalism they'll continue to slide into fringe online shit. Resistance twitter, the entire Q movement.. all united by their unflinching unquestioning view of capitalism, and really why should we look at the dominant force in this world?

great job, everyone. Thank you

Responding and bumping threads from these attention deficiency losers is what keeps them from moving on to the next step and having a gender reveal party for themselves on TikTok
I created a topic on the crisis of our time and questioned how it might lead people into conspiracies when we don't (or can't) see it as the crisis that it is.

All that shit you just wrote are fairy tales in your head to make yourself momentarily feel better vis-a-vis your lowgrade anxiety that OP(me) is dead nuts spot on

But yet technology has not done that, may be because it can not? Humane nature prevails in all cases.

If you are a troll, at least you aren't just throwing blind insults and generalizing.

the biggest example of capital brain poisoning is undoubtedly muh human nature

there is no other animal on this planet that requires as much care or time to become a functioning member of their species capable of reproducing. Yet with a capitalist will tell you unblinking that human nature is that of self-interest.

Completely at odds with our biology and being here as a species. Fairy tales for grown men.
