I want to believe Quanchi but that shit in the OP is mighty unimpressive compared to what I was expecting.

I was expecting to new Mount Everest shooting magma from Spain to Italy and instead I’m looking at streams less impressive than after I finish for the 5th or 6th time in a day.

Well the guy I saw the day this erupted, said it was a slow eruption that let off a ton of gas without exploding so it was really good news. This seems to be saying that the magma chamber may be pressuring up still.

If I remember right the big fear is that a huge chunk of that mountain falls into the ocean and creates a giant tsunami. You need a blast eruption to blow that side off though.... or tons of earthquakes constantly weakening that side of the mountain.

The main vent active now is one of the side vents from yesterday. The three main vents from yesterday started belching. A ton of black smoke from possible internal blockage and while that was happening one of the gusher vents blew up into what you see now. During the day smoke/ash obscured what was taking place

Worst case would be about half the state gets flooded and southern GA gets kilt. Fl would be completely covered. What is the avg elevation in the state? 100' to 150' wave is looking like worst case.
