Wise words. It would be good that mankind would head back to seek the wisdom of Greece. There have been many revivals of the Greek thinking over the years. There is also this idea that mankind has really changed since their culture has existed. But as Will Durant points out is that we are basically the same trousered ape as we always have been. There is nothing new under the sun. By the way....both Socrates and Plato were not proponents of Democracy....especially as Plato got older he turned into a despot. But hey, we love our own despots dont we...!
