Like 90% of gun deaths are suicide or gang shootings. Not that those don't count, but they are almost never caused by a gun. With or without a gun, almost all those deaths would have still occured. I bet most of the other 10% are either murders while committing robbery, or crimes of passion. Most of those can't be blamed on the gun either. Very, very few people have a problem with gun violence in this Country.
As far as the small percentage of gun deaths that are school shootings...well, we have had guns since America was born, and had much less to no gun control in almost all of our past. Only very recently were school shootings a problem. It is very obvious we have a mental health and pharmaceutical problem, but big pharma pulls so many strings here, we will never address it. So... GUN CONTROL! Rah!
