We are implementing a new forum function called archiving. Posts from DYCA that are felt to be important to be stored away in a searchable information database will be archived and tagged so they are easy to find an discussed in the future.
Currently, what will happen is that the original poster of the message will have the message from DYCA copied as a new thread on the Main Forum. There will be some hiccups with this that we need to work out (like some users may not want a thread created under their name) - but we can work out the kinks as we move forward
***If someone has a message archived that they do not want to have a thread created under their name, the creator of the original message will have the ability to delete the thread***
