Honestly they should put so much firepower on that island that it would require a couple dozen nukes to wreck it all.

Make it so that if they want to take it they can't use if afterwards.

Best part is Taiwan probably gets off a solid 1/3 - 50% of their ordinance and Beijing goes bye bye.
