I'm a bit of a nerd and enjoy learning about all different kinds of topics, and I'm sure there are a lot of others out there like me that have cool things you could share as well. So post any educational videos of any topic that you enjoy or that you've seen recently in this thread.

Also, please add a short summary of what the video is so people know what they're looking at without having to watch the video first.

This video is regarding the capital markets, and how rogue wallstreet firms have tricks and loopholes to exploit the system. It was created by Patrick Byrne in 2005.

This video is about a substance called "graphene". It's very short, 7-8 minutes, and talks about this substance that was developed around 15 years ago, that is supposed to be the future of a lot of industry. Not much has happened as of yet, that we're aware of.

This is pretty wild. I would anticipate that as the world "attempts" to move away from petroleum based products, there would be a much larger role for graphene in that space.

Interesting they went straight to space shuttles for this. I would anticipate its use in every day automobiles first then as we get better with it, transition to larger scale products.

Great find.

Yeah, I agree. I'm wondering if it has the ability to be worked into structural steel, to add a ton of strength while also reducing the strength/weight ratio. This could potentially reduce the weight of steel structures while increasing strength.

And how about with body armor? If it's truly as strong as they say, you could put a layer of that stuff in a normal t-shirt or pants and essentially make it bullet proof. That would be a game changer for military, police officers, and/or anyone that is at risk of being shot at.

Hey @LVRebel

Could you see if you can figure out how to make an "album" of these videos using the XenForo media section?

I think if you do it right, we should be able to make a nice little archive of these videos that is easy to access and find

Per your request, I created a media section with all of these videos in it for easier access. Please continue to share videos on here, and/or add them to the media folder. If you're looking for the media section, it's here:
