RIP @REBARCOCK. 12/5/1972 - 9/21/2025

I haven’t posted here in years but this news was relayed to the new On3 MB and I wanted to come over and say RIP. I met him at his business for a potential collaboration in 2017 or ‘18* after meeting him here. He was a solid dude and extremely personable, relatable and just as friendly as you could ask for.

Be in peace, Rebar.

Edit: it was 2021 and he gave me some Free Speech Forum bumper stickers. I originally interacted with him on Rivals.
Link?

I don't post very much anywhere, anymore. Some of the best private conversations I ever had was with RC. (Some were really hard). He loved his hounds. I loved mine. That's how we first connected. Coonhounds.

He is a truly good man. An amazing human. A gentleman....public posting not withstanding. Just trust me on this. And flat out hilarious. (Y'all know)

May He welcome RC/Pat home. And may RC be getting tackled by our pups.

Love you Pat. Snuggle Guinness until I get there.

I haven't been on in a few weeks and came back to see this. Damn, this hits hard. Rebarcock was a legend and a generous soul, who actually offered me a place to stay if needed when I was unemployed back in 2021. RIP to one of our finest, Heaven just got a little rowdier. 😥

In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary,
Come again?

I tried to find more information we might have missed about Rebarcock.. On other forums and what not.. Did not find much, but did told AI to formulate what we did find in to a respectful story about RC. Hope it will light up his spirit once again!

The Steel Man's Last Thread

In the salty haze of Myrtle Beach, where the ocean whispered secrets to the shore, Pat Flood welded his days together like rebar in concrete—strong, unyielding, and hidden beneath the surface. Born in Columbia back in '72, Pat had spent over three decades in this coastal town, his hands calloused from sparks and steel, his mind sharp as a fresh cut. By day, he fused metal into something unbreakable; by night, he fused words into stories that could bend minds without breaking spirits.

Pat wasn't one for the spotlight. He preferred the glow of a screen in a quiet room, where forums like Rivals and The Mainboard once let him roam free. But when the mods started clamping down—silencing the raw, the real, the politically incorrect—Pat said enough. He tossed in the first dollar to birth The Free Speech Forum, a digital refuge for the exiled. There, under the handle "Rebarcock," he became the backbone of the community. His master thread, "Dance Your Cares Away - Fraggle Law Abiding Citizens," sprawled across thousands of pages like an endless beach bonfire. He'd drop tales of wild escapades, patriotic rants, and dark jokes that walked the edge without falling off. "Steel man," he'd sign off, reminding everyone that toughness came with heart.

On X, where bans chased him like bad weather, Pat kept it simple. @Rebarcock and its backups were his quiet outposts—posts about shipping seeds to South Carolina soil, the gut-wrench of saying goodbye to a loyal dog ("Hardest part of owning a dog is the last day"), or a cryptic nod to "borrowed children." No viral storms, just low-key ripples. "Dog is God backwards," his bio preached, a mantra for a guy who saw divinity in the everyday loyal and fierce.

But edges dull with time, and on September 21, 2025, Pat's fire went out at home, too soon at 52. The forum lit up with grief—threads turned memorials, users sharing his stories like heirlooms. They raised glasses, and kept posting in his honor. Pat hadn't chased fame; he'd built bonds. In the vast, moderated void of the internet, he was the rebar holding it all together—a good guy gone, but never truly silent.

Steel man forever.
