So African Americans now have their own independence day. And that’s fine. I don’t care if they celebrate Juneteenth, or Kwaanza, or Festivus or whatever. It doesn’t bother me. I just wonder when the Native Americans get their own federal holiday signifying the day that the U. S. Government decided to stop slaughtering them wholesale,destroying their food sources, taking their land after making treaties granting them said land, and trying to annihilate their cultures completely. Seems to me like it would only be right.
