• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I am an independent voter who supports President Trump. I do not follow anyone blindly. Trump is my preference, tho I do not agree with everything he says or does, he has the best interest of this country & the American ppl at heart. He loves America & knows the ins & outs of how to make America great again
When did you start supporting Trump as an independent. Do you find yourself leaning more right or left as an independent?

I've supported Trump since he announced his running for the presidency, before he signed with the Republican party. I still believe signing with eh Republicans was a mistake & the only reason they signed him was because they NEVER thought he'd actually win. I've always been an independent because I feel both parties are full of corruption BUT my values lean more conservative in most ways.

That makes a lot of sense. I fully agree that both parties are full of corruption. Seems the whole of DC is full of corruption.
