His theory is that a trade deficit, so you know he's smart he said current account deficit..., is going to sink Poland because the Polish are layering on top of that an additional 2.6% of aggregate spending towards the Military?
Poland is a young country with less oldes than Western Europe or Russia. They don't need all the cash to pay for oldes, and instead have money to burn. They act as a consumption sink for Western Europe. Of course they are going to buy more than they make.
And inflation is high everywhere when energy inputs are expensive. Real catastrophic mismanagement problems arise when yore inflation is high and everyone else's is not. You could almost make a case for the Polish spending to replace the wealth lost to energy shortages. And if the spending is on the military... kills two birds with one stone.

Lol, just read up on the fool. Thinks GDP output, and I guess by extension the business cycle is a function of output capacity. I suppose he doesn't think capacity and output can diverge in things like a financial collapse ala 2008, and should do a better job of measuring the components instead of spitting out bullshit.
