This is the NFL problem.

They have FINALLY been forced to address the concussion problem after decades of creating monsters like Aaron Hernandez, Kellen Winslow, Phillip Adams, etc.

However, they got a huge problem now!

If a QB gets a concussion he is O.U.T.

As a result, they are trying to do everything they can to protect a QB.

Why would you not just spear a star QB in the head and take your 15 yards? Look at how it has destroyed the Dolphins.

To compound this problem, the QBs now like to run.

They have an enormous problem.

QB head are back on the menu and the NFL doesn't know what to do about it.

This is especially true when you face the leader in your division.

That QB is standing between you and a playoff run.

Like most things in life, they try to include every possible contingency in their rules. If they want to continue to protect the QBs, then put dresses on them and forbid them from running out of the pocket. Or go to flag football.
