I get tired of Democrats claiming to be on the “right side of history” when both their past and their present are so utterly sordid and destructive.
So, if you are a Democrat, let me tell you about MY side of history and YOUR side of history.

Cole Allen is the Dunning-Kruger Assassin.
Allen is not some random nut job from the fringes of society. He’s a very articulate graduate of Caltech, which means he has a high degree of native intelligence. He’s in the education profession. He is on BlueSky. He goes to No Kings protests. He’s your basic rank-and-file Democrat.
But it’s that high native intellect that led him astray.
The Dunning-Kruger Effect is, at its simplest level, people thinking they know more than they do. People who are high achievers in one area often mistakenly believe their native abilities make them experts in all areas. So you get a super-smart guy like Allen, he excels in one narrow area, and extrapolates that excellence into thinking he knows more than he does in other areas. He goes into Blue Sky, he goes to No Kings protests, and he is easily swayed into believing all of the insane, violent lies those sorts of intellectual cesspools foster. All of a sudden this computer science expert is a national political policy expert too, except that latter expertise is derived from insane propaganda.
The man with the intellectual skill to write code is not smart enough to recognize when he himself has fallen prey to propaganda, so he KNOWS that Donald Trump is Hitler and must be stopped.
And when you KNOW that someone is Hitler, what’s the right thing to do?
That’s what is so scary at this very moment—the sheer number of ostensibly educated Democrats who KNOW so many things are “true" that are actually so very, very untrue.
In many ways, Cole Allen is just an average Democrat, and like most average Democrats, he fell prey to credentialism and Dunning-Kruger. But Cole took it to the next level; let’s pray more do not.

- Man murders Dem lawmakers in MN (suspect has some right-wing beliefs, also is a former Dem appointee, also says the Dem governor told him to do it)
- Man sets PA Governor mansion ablaze with Dem Gov & family asleep inside (suspect is a ‘globalize the intifada’ terrorist/antisemite)
- Man attacks Paul Pelosi with a hammer (unclear if this counts as an assassination attempt or politically motivated / suspect has a bizarre worldview, with a mix of far left and far right views/conspiracies)
- Also worth noting various celebrations / justifications of violent acts (Kirk murder, healthcare CEO murder) among a non-insubstantial segment of the Left, as well pro-violence stances articulated by an increasingly prominent leftist influencer being mainstreamed by a large swath of the political Left
- After the Kirk assassination, YouGov asked Americans if political violence is ever justified. Huge bipartisan majorities said no. But: “A quarter of respondents who identified as very liberal said violence can sometimes be justified to achieve political goals, along with 17 percent of those who identified as liberal…6 percent of those who said they’re conservative and 3 percent of those who identified as very conservative.”- Missing any? Feel free to add to the list below.
Have you ever walked into a room of liberals and felt a chilling shift in the air? The smiles are utterly fake. The tension is palpable. You exist as an unapologetic conservative in a space dominated by progressive orthodoxy. Carl Jung diagnosed this exact psychological phenomenon decades ago. He called it the shadow. The modern left is completely consumed by it.
Every progressive alive wears a mask. They project a curated public persona of endless tolerance, virtue, and equity. Beneath that fragile veneer lies the shadow. It contains their suppressed rage, their gnawing envy, their profound insecurity, and their absolute terror of personal failure. They bury these vile traits to maintain the illusion of moral superiority. The shadow remains and festers forever. When a grounded conservative walks into the room, our very presence shatters their entire illusion.
Awareness makes you an existential threat to the liberal order. Seeing their patterns, their hypocrisy, and the glaring gap between their noble rhetoric and their destructive actions makes you terrifying to them. Speech is entirely unnecessary. Your calm indifference to their performative social theater registers as a direct attack. They realize you see exactly what they are desperately hiding.
To avoid facing their own internal rot, the liberal mind panics and projects. They label you a fascist, a bigot, and a threat to democracy. These accusations are the pure manifestation of their own shadow desperately looking for a target. They ignore reality and attack the mirror your independence holds up to their pathetic stagnation.
The progressive worldview relies entirely on unspoken agreements to maintain comfortable fictions. Society must pretend men can become women. The public must accept open borders as secure. Citizens must view crippling inflation as a sign of prosperity. By refusing to participate in these collective delusions, you become a massive problem. You break their fragile agreements. You withdraw your need for their worthless approval. You ignore their predictable guilt trips. Losing their control over you forces them to attempt your destruction.
Cease shrinking yourself to keep these weak people comfortable. Allowing their resentment to dictate your behavior is a complete surrender to their mental illness. Let those relationships die. You are outgrowing them. Your political and spiritual individuation is a quiet, devastating indictment of every coward who decided to remain asleep. We will continue to grow, build, and conquer. Let them choke on their own reflections.
Republicans are probably funding him just so they have something to run against and whine about.
Martial Law can't come quick enough.
There were 2 shootings that occurred over the weekend that were largely overlooked due to what happened at the WHCD. So far, official reports have not identified anything about the shooters. 1 was in Bloomington, Indiana, the other in Austin, Texas. I've been combing the interwebs to try and find out anything about the shooters, and it seems from the articles they don't want to release this info. Makes you wonder...
Shit happens.
