It's disingenuous for govt, companies and others to push for paperless mail claiming by going paperless "saves the planet'. What bullshit!
Open any bill or most other correspondence and you will find several pages of difference languages from all over, a standalone address page and lots of superfluous advertising nonsense. Likewise, they want you to go online and print a bill or statement. Two pages of important stuff and 4-5 pages of nitwittery All that does is mean more paper is being used while letting the sender claim environmental awareness. Then they charge extra for sending paper bills or charge an extra "processing fee" when paying online like they want. Don' t forget the extra charge for not doing auto-pay.
They apparently don't understand that paper feeds termites which give off methane to be harvested to run their landfill facilities or sell the surplus to gas companies.
