LAC Vol.2 New Fraqqle Rock thread

Law Abiding Citizens second volume.

In a tense press conference exchange that’s gone viral, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson faced sharp questioning from independent reporter William J. Kelly about his expansive personal security detail, which allegedly includes over 150 sworn Chicago Police Department (CPD) officers at an estimated annual cost of $22.5 million in salaries alone—potentially exceeding $30 million when factoring in overtime, equipment, and vehicles.
Kelly grilled Johnson on his lavish 150+ CPD officer security detail—estimated at $22.5M in salaries, ballooning to $30M+ with overtime, vehicles, and gear—while the mayor claims the city is “safe” and pushes police defunding measures like axing school resource officers and the $600K mounted patrol unit.
Citing “over 300,000 Chicagoans,” Kelly accused Johnson of “hate speech” against law enforcement, referencing his past comments evoking the Civil War and calling policing a “sickness.”
Key exchange: “Would you ask your 150 officers to stand down if you or your wife Stacey were attacked, shot at, or rammed by a protester vehicle?” Johnson dodged, quoting MLK on addiction, incarceration, and militarism instead.
Kelly also pressed on migrant crimes, citing a Nicaraguan migrant’s alleged fatal assault: “If that were Stacey, would you want ICE to deport him?” Johnson’s evasive “no” reply ignited fury. Critics decry the detail’s size—bigger than ex-Mayor Lightfoot’s 90 officers and rivaling LA’s in a smaller city—calling for reallocation to street patrols or CTA security (just 130 officers total).
As budget talks loom, the scandal fuels demands for Johnson to ditch his protection if Chicago’s truly secure, exposing elite double standards in a high-crime city.

I really wish you would take a breath. We have discussed literally for years now for everything to play out and in the 11th hour, now is not the time to lose our shit.

I agree for the most part that something’s not right. I’m giving things until the midterms. If SAVE Act is not passed and Dems win House and Senate I will never vote again and I’m 100% done.
Yep. If Trump played us then it's over anyway. I still want to believe the only way he can get us out of the Mid East is by removing the mullahs and putting the Arab states, Turkey, Egypt and Israel in charge of keeping it stable. Maybe they clean up Lebanon too and then Syria can start to deradicalize. But it will be without us being directly involved.

Watched every minute. Unbelievable… It’s like we’re a nation of zombies. Enjoying our football, and our movies, and our hobbies, paying upwards of 30-40% of our fucking paychecks under penalty of imprisonment if not paid to entities that just take our money and enrich themselves. How and why do we just sit here and not do something to correct this? It’s like we’re already dead as society. We’re so dead that actual death won’t even move the needle at this point. Like fucking cucked zombies. It’s absolutely infuriating.

Meanwhile, if we so much as miss a credit card payment - our financial reputation starts to get fucked - it impacts our ability to get good background checks which lead to not being able to obtain employment. It impacts our “insurability” from cars to homes… It’s such an infuriating scenario- yet we just sit here with a dick literally in our ass as we root for our favorite college football team.

FUCK!!!!

URGENT — The Cuban dictatorship has just announced the PERESTROIKA on national television.

The same death decree that accelerated the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The measures will be as follows:

- Allow exiled Cubans, without effective residence in Cuba, to participate in or own private businesses in Cuba.

- Exiled Cubans can partner through their companies with Cuban private companies. Not just small businesses, they can encompass infrastructure and large-scale operations.

- Participation of exiled Cubans in the country's financial-banking system. This opens up participation for Cubans in the realm of business and the financial realm.

- Exiled Cubans will be able to open foreign currency bank accounts in Cuban banks.

- Regarding land-related businesses, usufruct rights over them will be granted.

- Exiled Cubans will be able to establish alliances with Cuban state or private entities.

The real story about the NATO countries refusing to help the United States is not that they disagree with American policy. In fact, they’re very happy we’re eliminating Iran as a threat. They’re just afraid of all the Muslims they let in, so they won’t say it out loud. The real story, however, is the fact that they don’t have a military that’s capable of performing the mission.

So next time some geebo from Denmark starts crowing about how they turned down their NATO ally, ask them what ship they could deploy to the Persian Gulf within one week that could conduct those operations. And you will never get an answer because the answer is none.

This is a shameful moment in Western history, leaders standing like frightened cowards before the Islamist jihadist rats ruling Iran. Starmer in Britain. The German Chancellor. They want the oil. The gas. The markets. But when it comes to defending it? Silence. Cowardice. Excuses. At the same time, they rush to talk with the Islamic regime in Iran.

So let’s be clear: Zero friendship. Zero loyalty. Zero respect for their own interests or for the civilization they claim to defend. Do not speak to us again about friendship. Do not lecture the world about freedom.

We watched you stand against your closest ally, America, while hoping the Islamist regime in Iran wins this confrontation.

The Starbucks on University Way in Seattle — one of the most progressive zip codes in America — just delivered a case study that no business school could write better.

Workers went on strike. Three months in, they had to end it because they couldn't afford to keep going without a paycheck. Then Starbucks announced the store is closing April 5th. And the workers who went on strike were told they are not eligible to transfer to other locations.

So to recap: they struck, they lost income for three months, the store is closing, and they don't get to move to another Starbucks.

This is what happens when the bumper sticker meets the spreadsheet. Striking workers don't get paid. Stores that aren't profitable get closed. Corporations don't reward disruption with promotions. These are not novel concepts — they are how employment has functioned for the entire history of employment.

Seattle has spent years electing politicians who treat basic economics like an opinion. The workers at this location were presumably raised in that same ideological environment. The idea that you can withhold labor indefinitely and the business simply waits patiently for you to return is a fantasy — and an expensive one.
