• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Good mornin fam! 1st day of spring training went well. Rivers’ kid is a stud. Got some big old boys playin. Today’s gonna be a good day! Gonna work in the yard a little bit, turn in my last paper for the semester, do some chores and run some errands, then back off to the high school for day 2. Oh, and THIS is MURica! blm/antifa and anyone who support them can just fuck right off!

Today is the first day as co-owner of my day job. Finally got the deal closed yesterday. Nothing gonna change, probably, as I'll run it as I have the last 3 years. But, the significant increases in profits each year now goes in to my pocket, as opposed to the former owner. And, we will now have a LOT less inventory on hand.

My first BRRRR I partnered on is essentially done as well. Electrician had to move an outlet in the kitchen, so we have to patch that drywall and paint. Then, clean up and get the bank rolling on the refi.

Life's coming together. Imagine what you can do when you quit worrying about how you've been wronged in life because of your age/sex/skin color, and go out and try to better yourself.

I also suggest you read the biography called: Patton: A Genius for War. It is riveting and graphic in describing an America Warrior unlike any other in our history.
