About time. Once this happens he will either vote with the R's or Retire as there is NO WAY for him to win as an independent and the seat will rightfully return to the R's.
I could see him going I then voting with the R’s most of the time.

Would probably win him another term and there might be a pact so that the GOP doesn’t go after the seat if he sinks the Dims until at least the midterms.

I’d be down for that.

Was reading an article the other day about how screwed the Dims are in the senate for the next decade or more and this is certainly gonna be their last shot at anything close to 50 seats.

GOP is expected to get over 60 seats by 2028-2030.
