How about a summer cottage get away? Nothing too fancy.
Those types of shows are a true love/hate for me. Love seeing the designs and especially the views of the mountains and solitude.
Hate them cause I likely will never be able to live that dream. Stuck in Florida till the good Lord comes and gets me.

I may have a little bias as far as Maine goes (a good portion of my family is from there) but the entire state (except Portland) is a pretty cool place to be. If you are someone who enjoys outdoor living. I love the Maine coast, but places like Moosehead Lake offer a lot as well.
Move to the Rockies and stay east of the divide. It’s amazing.

Camped every summer, for the whole summer, growing up though so I'm drawn to that sorta stuff.

There are plenty of those opportunities in Maine. Very affordable as well. They can even double as rental properties if you are willing to deal with that type of thing.
