I just read an article on Fox News where one of the high schools, at least, had students fill out a questionaire regarding sexual activity, transgenderism and whether they had been treated for a sexually transmitted disease in addition to many other very personal questions. The sample copy of the format I saw appeared to be several pages long.
The first question that came to my mind was ' why an institution that was created to teach reading, math, science and history has veered so far into people's personal lives'. The second question would be ' what are they doing with that info and how does it relate to their original mandate'.
