• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

The commentator specifically focused on Justin Fields' draft stock while most mock drafts don't have him falling out of the top 10​

 
Starting a game with some guys at work. Like a March madness bracket, I made a sheet for the 1st round to predict who goes where. 1-32 and you get 1 point for position or 3 points for name. Every pick in increments of 5 are the money pick so thatā€™s 5 points if correct. $20 buy in and itā€™s a fun way to gamble with the bros at the bar

It couldn't be that Justin Fields can't do progressions right and that got noticed once people started breaking down the tape after the season??

Also, Dwayne Haskins did him no favors.

I still have no idea how people are coming up with the first read thing. How do these guys have the play reads? Are they saying he reads the defense correct and hits the open guy on the first read? He spends too much time on covered guys? I like Fields and think he is talented enough. Seems like brains and accuracy are the defining traits a QB has to have.

The other part is being in the right situation. As a Brownie I always said it didnt matter if they had Brady or Manning, they would have ruined them.
