You wanna guess where the 2 biggest murder points in KY are located? I'll give you 2 guesses. Guess how long it's been since either of those cities have had a Pub mayor or city council or even a somewhat conservative sheriff or police chief...? The area around Louisville has close to the population of Louisville. Louisville has 4 times the murders of the 7 counties surrounding it. Lexington was a safe city in the early 90's and went liberal after the oj verdict. The murders there have increased ever since.

Could it be because Louisville makes up 15% of the overall population of the state while only 1 other city is above 1%, Lexington at 7%? There are 234 counties in KY and 91% of those, 213 counties, make up less than 1% of the population. I mean, my city is larger than the entire state.

Now, I went and pulled the data and charted it on a spreadsheet and 2003 was the highest point of murder and violent crime rates. The lowest point since 1970 was in 1992. The OJ verdict was in 1995, where the crime rates were the same as in 1971.

These stats show mostly southeastern states. Republicans are the 1s who get out & vote in these states in particular. The crime rate is highest in black communities & white Republicans are afraid of the backlash of calling out these communities due to ppl always screaming racism. Maybe if black America held their ppl to higher standards & stopped justifying them being a bunch of criminal assholes things would look completely different. My Godparents are black & they are some of the most respectable ppl a person could ever meet. They raised all of us kids to believe we can be whatever we want to be as long as we do it with God at the front of every decision. This makes for ppl who love 1 another & act like decent human beings.

Not sure where you got your numbers but local news here in Louisville report that 2020 and 2021 were the 2 highest murder years in Louisville history. 2022 will make it 3 years in a row of over 100 murders. Population aside, its still more murders, by far for the population, than anywhere else in the state.

I live right outside Louisville and we've had 2 murders in 5 years. Litter ali border Jefferson Co and live about 12 miles from a Louisville murder "hot spot". Magically outside of meth use and theft none of the crime affecting Louisville are prevalent outside the city.
