Mad_gascar would probably require a significant amount of work building up modern infrastructure largely from scratch.
NZ is already reasonably modernized and generally well established overall, so it'd be a lot easier to expand upon.

It'd be extremely difficult and would require years to establish sufficient capacities and capabilities on all levels, especially without already having a modern military adequate for the task of defense or perhaps having some sort of overwhelmingly superior new tech terrifying enough to keep the globalist gang's militaries the fuck away.... otherwise they'd immediately demonized us and pile on in an orgy of carnage, killing everyone involved along with probably 25+% of the civilian pop.
