Exactly. Typically someone doesn't just die and is unrecognizable unless they were eaten by a wild animal or killed. Or, I suppose, if you were dead for a long time before being found.
There's a difference in not finding out and not disclosing. Same thing goes with the Vegas shooter. They know exactly what happened but went silent on the whole thing.
Any info on how he died? was there a gun close by?

Took what, two days or more to identify Gabby? But less than 12 hours for him? Cause of death will likely not be determined due to lack of evidence.
