• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

I suggest they play soccer at a very young age, but at around 8 or so start to re-direct them so they don’t end up being complete pussy ass phaggots.

If you are lucky flag football or basketball for 4-8 year olds will be at the same time.

Edit:Had a good friend get concerned about this and switched his son to golf and let him drive the cart. Now his 4 and 6 year olds are outstanding golfers and no concerns of being a douche puss-bag in high school.

I have three sons. They all started with soccer bc you can do that shit at three. They did baseball, basketball as they got older, but stuck with soccer too and now two of them have been in travel for more years than I care to admit. Indoor and futsal during the winter too. Never ends.

It's honestly not awful, but I'm not sure how it happened.

I can empathize, my daughter switched from basketball to drama in high school and I’ve learned to adapt and appreciate the arts. Some things I’ll never be able explain.

But really, if it makes you feel any better I was involved in more fights and double legging in soccer than I ever was on the faggy basketball court.
 
Daughter played it and they suckered me into coaching for two years. Never kicked a soccer ball in my life. Went 7-6 first year and 12-2 the next..... Hope this helps OP

I coach boys golf and used to coach the girls as well... you want to talk about a scholarship opportunity for girls. I would have coaches calling me saying they had cash for any girl that could break 50 on 9 holes. Not consistently, just if they ever did, or if I thought maybe they could one day.
 
Probably get destroyed for this opinion but I would be pumped Kenny Jr wants to join a team sport. There are so many limp wrist pussy youtuber kids these days. Soccer, no it’s not ideal, but at least he ll be breaking a sweat, learning how to handle winning and losing, and prob score some chicks (or dudes) in the process.
