Karma system really hinders one's ability to do stuff!

reddit karma sucks.jpg
This is exactly what I'm referring to! But I have an opinion to share in addition to other subjects that must be posted or commented on certain topic subreddits!

But thanks to this, I can't! No one can cage my spirit like that! I have a question that needs answers!

And I had plans to set up my own subreddit too all dedicated to my forum I just set up and via my backup reddit account. But I'm now in the negative in regards to my comment karma all because of my latest explanation to someone:

"I'm male.

Despite my gender, I feel pity for how all these females, yes - FEMALES; we're not using the word girls, we're not using the word women, FEMALES, FEMALES, FEMALES! From now on, that's the word, I'll use to avoid getting the wrong reactions.

I'm just trying to raise the message that everyone needs to learn to appreciate the appearance of each other's bodies! But after this unique discovery, I felt it to be the final straw. It seems females are more... you know... discriminated. So now it's time someone, that's me set out to teach the world that we need to learn to appreciate each other's appearances regardless of race, and gender, and age!

Again, it was the news reporters' choice or idea to publicly publish the footage and the disposable diaper manufacturer got the parents' consent to photograph their kid topless for their disposable diaper box. So can you really hurl insults at them from that point?"

This (comment) karma was really hard to obtain! You know how hard it was!? It was like searching for a needle hiding in a haystack without a magnet!

Tell me about your subreddit. It sounds it sounds not only interesting, but something that we all could benefit from

I have yet to set it up via my backup account, but... https://www.reddit.com/user/TheFeministAvenger/

And again, all thanks my latest explanation to someone put my backup account that has yet to reach 30 days of age in the red.

Could you be a little more descriptive, please?

Without knowing more about it, it will be hard for me to direct friends and family, and the occasional stranger who might need it, to your sub(Reddit)

Creating a subreddit

A lot of people have been reporting problems with creating a subreddit. This is because the requirements for creating a subreddit changed recently (in February 2015). There are now two criteria for a reddit account to be able to create a subreddit:

  • Your account must be at least 30 days old.
  • Your account must have a minimum (unknown) amount of positive karma. (The amount of karma required is known only to the reddit admins.)
This is to make sure that people spend some time participating on reddit and getting to know how it works, before making a subreddit of their own. It also prevents spammers from using brand-new accounts to create subreddits for their spam.

If you find yourself unable to create a subreddit, please check the age of your account and your karma. You may need to wait a few weeks, or build up some karma. Acquiring karma is easy – just find some subreddits you enjoy, and participate. Post some comments and submit some links (non-link posts, or “self-posts”, don’t add to your karma). In short, become part of the community.

This information is also in our FAQ.

When your account is more than 30 days old, and you have acquired a small amount of positive karma, then you can create a subreddit of your own. To do this, go to your reddits listing, where you will see a button called “Create your own subreddit” at the top of the sidebar on the right. Click this button to create your subreddit. You may also find this button in the sidebar of many existing subreddits.

Some pointers:

  • You can not change the name of your subreddit after creating it. Make sure you type it the way you want it, with correct spelling, and with capital letters wherever you want them. If you get it wrong, it’s wrong forever.
  • You can not delete your subreddit after creating it. If you change your mind, or make a mistake, you can’t undo it. If you create a subreddit and then decide you don’t want it, post it in r/AdoptAReddit or r/NeedAMod or r/ModSearch to see if you can find someone else to take it over.
After you’ve created your subreddit, you’ll want to know how to change the style and format, and how to promote it, and how to build it up. There are some good hints in this moderation guide to get you started, and some helpful folks over in r/ModHelp.

So this just adds insult to injury that my new backup reddit account just got -3 comment karma.

Although I find the description of the process of starting a sub read, it signed to read, and appreciate such a detailed account, my main question is what is a separate credit you aim to create going to focus on.

For example, I would thoroughly enjoy a conversation with Herman Melville about how he approached, researching in writing his unabridged, classic literature, I am much more intrigued with the story itself found within his prose.

He is the quintessential American writer, and nothing is more American than whaleing. Some might say basketball, rap, music, or judge Judy is America’s greatest gift to the world. I disagree thoroughly and say it is the hunting of the behemoth of the deep and the sweet oil found within the blubber that provided light to our cities is more American than anything.
Not Pete Rose, Audie Murphy or even Glen Campbell is the quintessential American like the sailor from Nantucket is.

Human equality, that's what! I'm just trying to make sure everyone is respected equally in terms of body appearances! But it seems the female side is more discriminated in terms of the bare body.
