Trump gave a defense you retard. The judge made clear the defense was a “fantasy world”.

You are not a business man clearly.
When you go for a loan you value the property as you see fit. Value= what someone would pay for it. Nothing else.
If the banks felt his valuation was off all the need to do is have someone go assess the property with an evaluation. Everytime some originates a home loan just about this is done.
The judge will have this ruling thrown out on appeal

He wasn’t denied due process. Summary judgements are a part of due process.

Trump himself was seeking a summary judgement in this case (a complete dismissal).

In fact Trump should consider himself lucky that it’s only civil because they could have easily gotten an indictment for criminal charges in this case.

Not that it’s going to matter. He is going to jail for the rest of his life one way or the other. Even if he were to win the election, and therefore get a short hiatus, he can’t get rid of the state charges and they have him dead to rights.

That’s just one realtor’s opinion.

The judge used an assessor’s estimate which is obviously going to carry weight unlike some random realtor.

The assessor’s estimate seems low but if you take into account rising sea levels from climate change one could argue his property is worth significantly less than 18 million since it will eventually be completely under water.

It doesn’t really matter either way because this is just low hanging fruit for the mouth breathers. Gets them frothed up over shit they don’t understand.
