There is a breaking point where it will no longer make financial sense to drive a truck. I don't know where that point is, but we have to be getting close. At $9/gallon for diesel, that is about a dollar a mile for tractor trailers. Unreal.

I don't believe that gas price as a high. The dems are too stupid to not propose price controls and it will further kill supply. Prices will sky rocket before those idiots can be beaten with a stick away from decision making.

Reason I'm asking is coz diesel has always been way, way cheaper than petty here in NZ.

(Not entirely sure, but I'm thinking it's because owners of diesel vehicles here have to pay mileage tax.)
