• Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

ISP is trying to fuck me in my ass, any options? (Rules followed)

My ISP knows they’re the only provider in my neighborhood and has increased my monthly payment from $69 to $109. When I called to ask them why my bill went up $40 a month when they aren’t providing me with $40 more in service they said they could offer me a $5 discount. I told them to eat a bag of dicks and I canceled my service.

The shittiest part is they offer the same plan to new customers for $20 cheaper than what I originally paid and the contract is two years, instead of the one year I received. Do I have any other options? I looked into a mobile hotspot but the prices there seem to be much worse. I’m considering having my girlfriend sign up as a new customer with my address but not sure if that would work?

Here are some whores I know for your time (sorry will only let me submit 10 pics)11B5A532-4580-4F32-B90E-388820B545F6.jpeg20201013_170016.jpgD36FBA09-ECFA-4277-96CB-65A2A5526946.jpgAttach34668_20180420_124535.jpgiPhone 001.JPG:

A lot of times you can call and ask to be signed back into a new contract and they will give you that reduced price for another 2 years (if that's the contract they offer) I do this with Dish and used to do it yearly with CenturyLink but now they have me on a forever price plan.

On your advice I just went online and signed up as a new customer using the same info I signed up with before. Seemed to have worked so far, they're coming to set me up for service the day after they shut my service off lol.

Yeah they just emailed me saying "This promo is for new customers signing up for the first time and who have not had active services in the last 30 days." So I'm just going to have my girlfriend sign up the day after they shut my service off.
As I always understood it, you need someone with a different last name. I asked about putting it in my wife's name once and they said no go since same last name.
