Not really, sure they could be a contributor, but all TV and sports seems to be a shit show, almost simultaneously, like it is planned.
When would you say it started? Northwestern was a similar situation when the wanted to unionize.

Not sure. I would say whenever the ruling that college players could profit from their likeness. A couple years ago now.
College will be the JR NFL, or NBA in the future.
They've always been paid. Scholarship or other.
