Yup. 2x because im a stupid fucker that touches the hit stove twice.
When I was prob 22-25 I thought eye protection was for pussies. I was using a brass wire brush on a 7in dewalt grinder humping and clean some trash metal to do a repair on a dump truck bed or something like a garbage truck. A pc of brass wire shot in my eye. I have eye phobia too from injury as kid (
been hurt my entire life)Went to a doc in a box. A fucking Paki dr starts trying to jab my eye w a needle.

A stoner friend who was a beach bum and eye Dr who does eye surgery (old can't think of word) - I went next door after that and showed him. We went to his practice after hrs and he literally drilled it out. Total clock work orange shit.
2nd time same dumb shit but it was iron fragment. As he drilled it was cutting deeper. He ended up giving me a salt based numbing agent and said best thing I can do is flush w saltwater couple times a day so it would rust and leech out naturally. Took a week or so. Much better than the eye drilling. That took everything i had in me to not move my eyeballs w the drill in it. When he was done I was bouncing off the walls panic anxiety adrenaline or whatever it was. We twisted one up and got drunk on the beach.
I actually saw him 2 weeks ago 1st time since around then. He introduced me as one of his best buddies when he 1st started and was broke. Not gonna lie that was cool.
