It may not mean shit anymore. It may not matter. It may not count. But a bunch of people legitimately died for you to decide if you want to vote or not.

I agree with this. It’s my right not to vote. However, I want to know reasons as to why I should?
To help elect a person that represents your views and beliefs for whatever position they’re running for be it local, state, or federal.
I can’t argue that elections are legitimate, more-so on some state and federal positions. I guess I feel like I’m doing my part to support my city, school, state and country as best as I can. That’s my reason. I don’t think anyone can give “your” reasons.
I can understand voting in smaller local elections. However, I think most elections are fake. I’ve thought this since I was in high school many moons ago.
I think it’s all a show for us.
It could be all a show, but what is the cost if that is the case? You wasted 30 minutes out of your day every couple years? If there was even a chance that they were legit it is a small price to pay.

Just vote by mail like a normal person and it only takes 3 minutes and that accounting for the application you have to mail into to receive your ballot in the mail.

I'm about done with voting. I'm old (77) and have voted in every election since I was able but after the results this time I am left shaking my head. Supposedly 70% of the population believe that the country is headed in the wrong direction yet many still voted for the same morons that are responsible for the mess this country is in.
Thankfully I live in Texas where the left wing loons haven't got control yet but that is slowly changing.

Don’t get me wrong, I wish voting mattered. However, only a select few states do and I think most of those are fake. There’s a lot of money in voting. I think it’s decided well before the actual election.

I tend to agree with you especially just hearing the Dems will take the senate. Don’t get me wrong, I understand the stupidity of dem voters but they lack motivation. I have a hard time believing people like Fetterman has a snowballs chance. Doesn’t campaign and is obviously lacking in mental capacity.
Dem policies directly impact working class Americans and I don’t believe the majority are stupid enough to elect the same degenerates that are crushing them financially.

Same…I’m done also. Not going to waste my time voting in elections that are obviously rigged, dragging out over a week or more until one party gets the votes they need. I don’t see why I should waste my time when it’s not going to matter anyway.
