Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

Not sure but my neighbor went to high school at Claremont High in San Diego when Cameron Crowe spent a year running around his high school for material to write Fast Times at Ridgemont High. He could tell you the actually guy that Spicoli is based off of as well as Mr. Hand, etc.
Look wedding singer nailed this one....It’s just emotional and enjoyable with 8 makers marks in the system.
Jeff Spicoli is in my top-5 of best movie characters. I’ll still drop an “all right Hamilton” every now and then around buddies.

That's her best song. It never got the publicity of Gloria but dang that song is just good. I prefer this video better because it's more 80's.

That reminds me that Lysette Anthony in Bryan Adams "Heaven" was smoking hot as well. Just a really really pretty woman with beautiful eyes.
This is what I love about 80s/90s vids. The chick was always hot, but not so hot that you didn't think you would have a chance with her IRL. At least that is what I told myself. And of course they were always with a doofus we would all totally treat better than.
