So, zero chance to win the MNC, even if they were one of the top 4. This is actually a pretty reasonable take and it doesn’t even really highlight that putting in a one loss team with no conference championship over an undefeated team with a conference championship (Washington or Michigan) would require that one loss team to be inarguably better than that undefeated conference champion.

UGA isn’t inarguably better than any of the playoff teams. Their best argument would be against a Michigan team that handled their business decisively in a weak conference.
