TLDR: The struggle is personal, and @ our doorstep, for many of us.
Fucking awful!Yup. Last year we went through it with my dad (deceased APR ‘20), step mother in law (AUG ‘20), and father in law who made it. None COVID related. All had no one to advocate for them while in the hospital.
I kinda want to rub my wiener on it. Anyone else?
Is that a yes? We can do it at the same time, but no touching tips.
I mean in theory you could have socialized healthcare that only those that work receive (like the manifesto suggests). It would be a disaster but our system is already a disaster considering I still pay for millions of folks to get free healthcare without needing to work at all.Nothing can be a Right, if it requires someone else to do work in order for you to receive it.
The only beneficial thing I got from the Wuhan scare is I've lost 30 pounds due to not eating fast food during the day.The gorilla in the room that no one discusses regarding HC is that we are an obese society.
It's also a cycle that's hard to break. I'd be all for individuals getting significantly reduced rates for being healthy and doing preventative work. However it's hard to penalize those that don't since most are lower income folks(lower education too) with little or no access to good food or better Dr's.
Also, the shit that winds up on our grocery shelves is amazing. Blows me away seeing what people put in their grocery carts.
Quick story. I was in Vegas this past weekend for a family gathering. We went to The Sugar Factory for lunch one day. As we were walking out I spotted a table where 2 mobility carts were sitting off to the side. The table consisted of several obese folks that were drinking punch bowl sized alcoholic drinks and eating all sorts of sweets and fatty foods. It's like they had a death wish.
That and the fatties masked up waddling down the cookie aisle in the grocery stores.
Long Live the Queen! Long Live the Queen! Long Live the Queen!
We lost dad last year and those motherfuckers tested him 5 times to try and call it a Covid death. The man was on dialysis for 7 year with complete kidney failure. We were kept from him for 4 weeks and only saw him when he was sent to hospice.Yup. A man who knows and follows the rules! Is that a yes? We can do it at the same time, but no touching tips.
or if we do, we need to immediately both say “no homo” and slap eachother on the ass.
Mind me asking how this happened exactly? Feel free to tell me to fuck off but I've had an aunt on dialysis for 11 years so I'm genuinely curious. We lost dad last year and those motherfuckers tested him 5 times to try and call it a Covid death. EDIT: Sorry...I’m not the best advocate (REALLY AWFUL)for Healthcare is a right at all. Parents paid out of pocket, well over 1.75 million for his care. Now you wanna talk about the BS billing. I’ve seen $250,000 plus bills settled for 15% cash. Pretty much every single bill was settled for a max 30-40% cash(including smaller...larger we lower percentages).

Oh my God man.....thats AWFUL. Prayers sent brother!I’m not an advocate either. My dad died of metastatic melanoma that went to his lungs. At the end he ended up with pneumonia so what do they do at admission? Put him on the “COVID Floor” of course. The doctor also claimed dad opted for hospice. Dad told us that wasn’t true over the phone. They did it anyway and told us you don’t have a POA and the doc said it was his choice. They discharged him to my brother and he died a few hours later.

Mine went in for pain in his stomach. Apparently the piece inserted in his stomach for the dialysis broke off. 2 days there and they discovered internal bleeding caused by said broken pieces in his stomach. Well they decided b/c of Covid.....they couldn't do the emergency surgery to remove those and fix it. When he was finally released from the hospital 4 weeks later, straight to Hospice, he died 4 days later with the broken pieces inside and continued internal bleeding.
And then like I said they tested him 4 more time for Covid (already did 1st)....and then had the gall to ask us if they could do 1 more BECAUSE he could have had it and we would like list it for accuracy. My and I looked at them puzzled and I blurt out....Yeah Fuck that, DAD DIED OF KIDNEY FAILURE so it looks like you are getting your bonus.....then walked the fuck out. They came and apologized and said their insurance is putting pressure on them to repetitively test and if they can call all COVID.
**THIS IS LITERALLY WORSE THAN BEING TOLD B/C OF HEALTHCARE CHANGE BY OBAMA, THAT HE WOULDNT BE COVERED (COST WISE) FOR MOST TREATMENTS AND COULDN'T GO ON ANY PUBLIC DONOR LIST.**
We did a lot with Mayo Clinic which was NEVER covered for him. Hell he participated in an experimental drug experiment when they started failing. Ton of out cover network as they would cover shitty specialists and we wouldn’t settle. He had diabetes that caused all the damage to his organs and body ORIGINALLY but was no longer diabetic so we tried to rejuvenate Internals. Some work some didn’t. He lost complete vision a few years ago and the eye doctors were amazingly. When he died he was at 30% in 1 eye and 18-20% in the other. Really amazing to experience.Mind me asking how this happened exactly? Feel free to tell me to fuck off but I've had an aunt on dialysis for 11 years so I'm genuinely curious.
