My old house is about 4 miles down the highway from where I live now, there was 450 acres across the street from me and I'm sure that farmer thought he had a contaminated area near the road that just wouldn't grow. It was producing really well ;0)

That was 30 years ago, there was still good corn being planted. We would prepare it by dipping it in boiling water for a minute then put it in the freezer.
