Federal Reserve might raise interest rates sooner than expected

Chairman Jerome Powell said Wednesday the Federal Reserve now expects to hike the interest rate from near zero to 0.6 percent by the end of 2023.

They don’t see any real core inflation. Things will settle. Guessing their timeline is heavily based on Moody’s and IHS economic data which shows recovery stabilizing post ‘22. BUT he also has to address the current inflationary pressure we’re experiencing. So he does the diddy about cooling monetary fears.

Yeah I appreciate your perspective in the other thread. Not saying I completely agree with you, but it’s a good perspective. I’m playing both sides so I’m good with any outcome. I always prefer financial chaos though because that’s where the money gets made
