I used to when I was younger, but now I get them less. If it’s a sinus headache it’s easily fixed with some psueds, or a caffiene headache is easy to fix. But a real migraine, this fucking suck

I get wife headaches but I know you wouldn’t understand those so I won’t bother with details.

I get migraines and other headaches. I have had at least 2 pretty significant concussions in my life and the migraines come with those. I have some really good meds that if I catch the migraine before it really gets going, I am fine. For me though it is the cluster (for of migraines) and tension headaches that are the worst. They are very hard to get rid of, even with strong meds.

I've had 6 hard concussions and cracked my skull a couple times. It is rare I get headaches. When I do it is usually eye strain so I put on my scripts. Once in a great while tension headaches

You are lucky my friend. I do not wish the headaches on anyone.

Yeah I agree. I've got a sister who gets them and it shuts her down.
Now that I think about it about 10 yrs ago I would get these crazy 5 second burst where my eyes and head would clang and shriek. I went to dr who thought mini stroke. Needed glasses

A timely thread. I have had about a dozen or so migraines in my life and yesterday made #13. Nothing would touch it, not even BC powder which usually kicks the crap out of any headache I have. Wonder what causes them?

Same.

I always know when a migraine is coming on because my vision fractures (like I'm looking through cracked glass) and my peripheral vision goes dark.

One of my daughters has the same thing. They're hormonally triggered.

It sucks, but I've learned to better manage over the years, so my daughter is at least a bit ahead of the game.

Maybe the brain is doing a hard reset. DDD in the upper neck and spine usually effects the chest and arm areas but I have never heard of it causing headaches. It is so common you would think some sharp Dr would have already found a cure. I am one of the lucky people who has never had bad headache and very few headache at all. I have some serious issues with my neck and it kicks my ass, I have nerve blockers to help with the pain it causes. My left arm was going to sleep last year so I went to a specialist who gave me two injections in my upper spine and that did help for about year but now the pains are back. He was telling me with DDD it is constantly changing so it might get worse or even better but it never stays the same for any length of time. I feel like someone beat the crap out of me using a sack of nickels.

Maybe this is why you think a street light flashes at you all the time, which is obviously not happening.
