I think on the Feinstein one they are still going to honor her and change it to “The ChiFei indoctrination academy”. She should be fine with that.

54 here... not a FN chance.
I’ll say this though. If I had to get the shot for work related reasons I would. But, I will never bend the knee on registering or handing over my guns.

I have 10 years on you and won’t take it. Wife gets her second next week due to work requirements. Told her Sunday night by the time I’m eligible the new flu shot will be out.

Folks that smoke meat and BBQ...what’s wrong with this pic?

Oh man, let's see.... besides the store-bought sauce, there is no discernible sign of any particulate matter that would indicate that homeboy applied a rub to the meat. While other spices, salt and sugar might dissolve, black pepper retains its shape in a cook.

He also has this smoked piece of meat sitting in a drip pan, which means that he either cooked it in there or he set it in there after the cook. Either way, he's ruining 30% of the bark on his meat by letting it sit in there.

The bark that he does have has a burnt tomato/burnt sugar look to it. That, in combination with the sauce bottle and the coloration of the aforementioned liquid in his drip pan, leads me to believe he just took his pork and poured Sweet Baby Ray's all over it to cook. That's going to have an off, acrid taste.

The edge of the meat showing on the left corner of the uncut pic looks dry. He probably left this thing uncovered or unwrapped during the entirety of his cook.

Additionally, given the relatively small amount of smoke ring seen in the shredded meat pic, he likely ran his smoker way too hot and too fast, which would account for the lack of smoke absorption, would explain some of the burnt sugar and tomato, and also explain part of the dry edge.

Perfect. To bad we couldn’t get together and smoke some meats. Rode trip to Columbus in September?
