Pat Flood (@rebarcock) passed away 9/21/25. Pat played a huge role in encouraging the devolopmemt of this site and donated the very first dollar to get it started. Check the thread at the top of the board for the obituary and please feel free to pay your respects there. I am going to get all the content from that thread over to his family so they can see how many people really cared for Pat outside of what they ever knew. Pat loved to tell stories and always wanted everyone else to tell stories. I think a great way we can honor Pat is to tell a story in his thread (also pinned at the top of the board).

There's no way...he hates that college sports have become professional. Total hypocrite, as he hates the idea of paying players at all, much less a guaranteed sum, yet hasn't been one to turn down some hefty salaries lately...
Young Dabo turned down 2 raises early on so that he could use the money for assistants. Awesome move. He's just not the same guy anymore. Alabama wouldn't put up with his shit, like putting family/friends on staff/scholarship. Clemson will. His youngest son is a rs freshman, so we'll have Dabo run the "progrum" into the ground until the kid graduates.
He's got like 12-14 "friends of the program" non athletes on his team, and guys that have never coached before, but are "Clemson guys" on his staff...at this point he's using his power as a charity, and I hope he fails miserably. He's an arrogant, pompous asshole, and a hypocritical "Christian" fake...he wasn't always this way, as I believe he used to be genuine.
I guess when his mom stopped riding his tuna can he became bitter...
