I'll be shocked if local areas don't go blue at a bigger clip than national. KY is pub on the national stage but have only had 2 pub governors since ww2. I think a lot of these dem areas are going to flip the other way. They'll have a weird liberal congressman but a sensible pub mayor or city council.

Still hoping a statement is made by the voters that the woke movement is ridiculous. Need Republicans to control both house and Senate and then have BDD waltz into a second term and start making some real changes.

Trump in a 2nd term will be so much more effective because he will know the ropes and know who he can / can’t trust from the outset.

We're a staunchly conservative state. We've just had some terrible, terrible, terrible gubernatorial candidates over the years. The Dems that were elected in my lifetime (37) have been extremely middle of the road, working class, old school kind of Dems.

This last election only went Dem specifically because incumbent Bevin was pretty well disliked by everyone. Couldn't galvanize enough of us to re-elect him. And he still almost won. Beshear has done such an absolutely awful fucking job he is going to be slaughtered next election.
