Can you smell it? Shutdowns are coming

Maybe I should go to the empty fields that grew corn this year and collect all the corn cobs I can, there won't be any toilet paper again because all the wealthier fools act like it's legal tender. If this virus hangs around for a long time corn cobs could bring mighty good prices.

never understood the worry about tp. I have so much unneeded cloth around the house, I will never fret over that.

I hope everyone is getting prepared for the next pandemic. Whether a biological or electronic or cyber, it is coming.

potable water needs to be high on everyone's list. humans can survive 14 days on water alone. 2/3 days without.
I refuse to drink straight water.

Haven’t had a bottle or glass in as long as I can remember.

Mom used to try when I was a kid and I just threw them back at here.

Pibb Extra and Milos are the move.

I dunno. The Gulf Coast beaches are about as good as it gets. Have you been down 30A? Then there’s this guy saving his state from the Biden BS

I was the first person on this site to call Desantis swamp and just controlled opposition to hurt Trump.

Also fuck the beach. Sand annoys me.

I like the woods and rain.

How’s the math work on this? 50% are vaccinated. To physically hit a number that high, the virus would have to be 2x as contagious?

I believe urbanization and pop density really drove the last few waves, and in theory more of those folks would have to be vaccinated than the rural pops. Therefore the virus would have to be even more than twice as contagious to hit a number like that.

According to Yale virus is 1.5x as contagious, not 2x +. So... the discrepancy has the be the vaccinated getting the virus enough to feel it, be sick, and get tested.

It would’ve interested you who I had lunch and Hppy hour with today. One of Trumps main fundraiser organizer. His fee for fundraising and access to Trump was 20% of a $500k per couple campaign donation. Not sure how that isn’t swamp.

I’d rather just go through another couple weeks of lock downs then live in that shit hole.

Good. I hope lockdowns happen and they shut down schools so the stupid people that voted for this in suburbs have to deal with what they voted for. Small businesses will be annihilated but elections have consequences

LIke I said in another thread, if there are nationwide lockdowns again, the mental health repercussions will be astronomical. Domestic abuse, divorce, substance abuse, depression, and suicides will go through the roof. Of course, the mainstream media will not even mention any of that, they are too fvcking busy trying to scare the $#!t out of us with Delta/Epsilon/Eta/Theta variants and talking about a fake "insurrection". Just wait boys and girls.

If any bullshit like this ever happens again, I don't plan on living through it. I'll just leave it at that.
