Billion Dollar ideas ITT

Rapidly integrateable mesh network nodes that can stand up a private network on a local level. Basically stand up a private, local internet for a town/city that is completely off the primary grid. Storage is so cheap these days the community could pool together to host a pretty impressive internet.

It can be done on the WiFi frequencies and has already been demonstrated. It just needs to be scaled so it is easy for normies to get into.

Not readily available.

Just think about how many networks you can see to connect to at a given time (unless you’re in a rural area).

What if you got 2,000 people in your city to set up a network with each other. You could have one person host Wikipedia (was only like 10 GB compressed). One person could host a XenForo forum like this one. All kinds of things are possible - you could have your own internet for your town

You know....

That just might save humanity.

Here's my Nikolai Tesla idea - just haven't figured it out yet: Wireless power.

Much like wifi, radio, etc - except for "power" within a given range.

Yeah it needs to be done for sure. Always been a pet project idea of mine for when I can gather the resources.

this is interesting. How had would this be to pull off?

An app that when you get a "spam" call you can hit it and it will either:

1) send a virus to the host bot computer/servers and disable it costing the scammers to pay thousands in repair
2) if its a real person, have a bot talk to them through the app (so you can still use their phone) for an indefinite period of time

So like Son of Anton/AI Guilfoyle on Silicon Valley?
