Big Texan Steak Eating Thread

He is on his phone now, with his credit card in one hand, eating lettuce with the other. Get your fucking head in the game man, 15 minutes to go!
 
He tapped out with maybe 12oz left and 10 minutes. Oh well, looks like contestant #2 is up and I now have my next hour figured out.
 
3 guys at table now. Their parents should be shot for not teaching them how to hold a fork when cutting meat.
 
Got a couple of live ones. I am guessing that they will not win. A little too young. Strong chance someone vomits. Go check it out. Also repositioned camera angle is pretty decent again. You can see the meat flaps getting tossed on the grill and such.
 
I really do not like to new camera angle.

These are two kids taking the challenge. Funny, really. They seem to be having a good time.

I haven’t kept up with it in a while. Once it went to YouTube it kinda killed the feel for it

I was thinking we could create an unofficial challenge. Where people from the forum go get a massive steak, and if they eat it all, we can all chip in and pay for it

Haha that’s right. I noticed how much he was chewing and then his twist of the head once he swallowed a few bites. I suspect it’s not the best steak he’s ever had. Looks medium well at least.
 
Used to be a time when I could have given that a good try using a munchie stimulant. Nowadays I've reached that point in life where mass quantities of food is no longer feasible or enjoyable.

I am at that point, but also at the point where my tolerance for edibles & the like is so high that I could not possibly get the munchies bad enough to eat a steak that big.😅😵

Old memories. In college, 47 or so years ago, I tried making pot roast in a crockpot using some home grown from a friend. Crockpots don't get hot enough. The meat turned out well but the rest was like spinach. Texas is missing the revenue boat by not following Colorado and other states. Casino gambling is needed too. So much money is leaving our state to OK, LA and NM.
