Attic Fail

I AM NOT one of the ones that HAVE NOT done this.....so I will share my story.
When I was a young plumber, we were putting some water heaters in the attic of 2 houses if I remember correctly, anyway.......
The first one, the other guy went up first, and as soon as his second foot got up in the attic, boom, straight nut shot, both legs full force though the ceiling.
After he recovered, and I recovered from laughing, we finished the job and went to the next one right next door......
Of course, I had to go first on this one, and sure enough as soon as I got up there, like a ding bat, boom, same thing, same exact spot as the other fella.
Dont feel bad, if you aint fell through the ceiling, you aint a real man.

I've fuckin done this too OP.
During Covid we decide to buy a new house and then move and sell our previous house. I was doing a small repair in the attic and turn and missed the stud.......boom right though the drywall and ceiling.....FML. This is always my problem, 1 simple repair becomes 2-3 major.......

No going through ceilings, but my tall as has has plenty roofing nails in the head
