Anyone live with bipolar disorder on here?

I cannot believe all the posters discussing it as helpful.

I must of ate too much, because it was the worst thing ever. It looked like when Neo came out the Matrix the first time and started yakking everywhere. Never want to throw up from anxiety again.

Scariest thing was I forgot who I was.
They are discussing it as being helpful because it is being shown through various studies that it can be extremely effective when paired with professional psychotherapy.

That sucks you had such a negative experience with them. Set and setting is extremely important if your taking a ‘breakthrough’ dose, which you definitely took if you forgot who you were.

Shouldn’t have taken that much silly

I was drunk? It happens.

It does happen. I ate 7 grams of dried goldcaps once. It was not fun, bad night. I'll leave it at that.

You must respect the psilocybin, however. Being drunk and maybe "partying" I'm assuming may have not been the right setting, and doses need to be accurate. One gram of dried boomers keeps your feet on the earth, but give a pleasantly visual/body buzz/happy/giggly experience.

Anyways, I believe in psychedelics. Not to be abused. You can gain decades of insight from some chemicals, and overcome many fears we often struggle with. Anti-depressants don't quite help with making people feel "whole", imo.....but admittedly helpful for gaining long-term term balance in dealing with mood disorders (like BP)

@Chris Farley have you ever tried MDMA (ecstasy)? It is helpful to some with PTSD, especially for those who struggle to communicate the trauma they've experienced by being able to relive and talk through it without feeling anxiety/emotional pain they've associated with those traumatic experiences. Not trying to pick your brain here, just relaying some stuff I'm maybe a little too familiar with.

You're one of my favorite posters here, if that helps
