Not in the traditional sense. But cyber warfare is definitely coming. Just as we saw the east coast pipeline shut down - imagine being able to literally shut down a country and render it helpless without firing a shot! When computers and cell towers are shutdown so is the economy. So are the missile silos. I just hope that we are the ones who perfect it and that the other usual suspects realize it would be futile to try and hit us with a cyber war, knowing they would be far worse off. Bio weapons are another story.

Central and west Florida for now, but since I’m a native of 1980, those phaggits better have the buttwholes puckered.
I can be very helpful in all things artillery related if there's a need. Would want to expand into Eastern Tennessee ultimately however, so just realize communications will be spotty as we approach the border.

Need a map key to understand whats going on here.

Could it be argued we're facing WW4, if you counted the Cold War as WW3? As we're learning, war doesn't have to be 100% kinetic

This is an FEMA map of likely targets. The circles are likely nuclear targets.

Dark brown, brown and blue indicate areas of likely nuclear fallout based on prevailing winds, decreasing from dark brown to blue.

You want to be mellow in yellow if the shit hits the fan.

I’ll definitely need some arty as my specialty is much more, we’ll call it direct. East tennesse would be on to do list anyway, so welcome to the Khanate homey.

This is why the 1980s movie "The Day After" was set in Missouri. It would get it the worst.

Missouri has all those missiles.
Yup, several old silos very near one of my folks places where I am right now as a matter of fact. Always fascinated me as a kid.

WW3? Sort of...but why fire shots and do it the old fashioned way, killing many people and having a hard time keeping the survivors in line? That is the old way. The new type of war is already well underway.

Much easier to take over the corporate and social media, and bribe/blackmail politicians & others to do your bidding. They will just give you what you want, and by the time most people realize what is happening, it is too late. You don't need to fire a shot to take land and resources in 2021.

Oh cyber warfare is most def already here. But at what point does it turn physically violent? Say another country shuts off our power grid and invades...is THAT when the first shots are fired? Bio weapons AREN’T another story IMO. It’s clearly here as well!

Where did you get this graphic?
West Virginia looks like a nice place. Eastern Arizona also.

LOL at Chicago Bros.
WVA is mos def a great option. Easy to get lost easy to defend up in the deep wooded mtns.
Sucks we have to go to the thermonuclear war arena for Missouri to be relevant.

Why is the majority of the fallout and direct hits in the Midwest IYO. Why is it not brown as fuck all along the East coast with all those targets? Why don’t you think the gulf ports aren’t targeted (Nola, Mobile)?

Great post here BUT, like I said in my first response...at what point does it turn violent? At what point does a certain group of people first of all WAKE up, and then at what point does said group not take it anymore, consolidate, and turn it physical? And all your points are valid for the current US/China economic/political war however, my question is are we on the verge of another WORLD war with so many different countries on edge?

This is a limited counterforce strike option. It is an option where you only target the opposing military. You try to knock out their ground based nukes at first and important air logistics facilities like Warner Robins, GA.

It it was more aggressive they would attack more military bases. They didn't show the bases on the panhandle of Florida being attacked.

The opposite strategy is countervalue which is attacking the opponents assets that are of no military value, but important to the people and economy.

In a countervalue strategy the first thing to go are the refineries on the gulf coast. They would be targeted with numerous missiles. They would want those refineries in ashes.

In a countervalue strategy, then you are talking about attacking LA, NY, ATL, etc. You are attacking main power plants, etc.

Countervalue attacks are basically the end of the world scenario and will get so out of control.

It all depends on what strategy the opponent uses, counterforce or countervalue.

I was mostly thinking about china, but why would they need to invade or get violent? They already are getting all our intellectual property, have taken most of our manufacturing & we are spending ourselves into ruin and tearing our country apart over nonsensical distractions. They will be the world superpower and we will have destroyed ourselves in a decade or two, at this rate. It would be silly for them to turn to violence, when what they are doing is working perfectly.

So who claims the land in a couple decades when all is said and done?

Well they are already buying tons of property, quietly, including along our border with their own private airstrips...but I don't think they need the land, necessarily. As we lose our global influence, they take up the slack. Already well underway in Africa & S. America. Plenty of resources and land outside of our borders for them.

They will still get plenty of other stuff from us as well, without taking land- from our politicians having shitty trade deals, from stealing IP, often with the help of Americans in acedemia and the private sector.

Countless other ways they would benefit from our demise, without having to fire one shot. I think this is likely their goal and the new generation of warfare.

What do the colors represent? What is the danger presented in the red zones?
