The problem is that they're trying to make them into super humans. It seems like it would be smarter to program them for specific tasks, like you're saying (cancer, etc), but maybe that's not how it works with AI. Either way, if they succeed in it, it will likely lead to our demise at some point in the future. If they have access to essentially the entire internet, and have unlimited time, energy, and brain capacity, they'll figure out a way to build more robots and upload their thinking capacity into each of those robots.

Yes, they could do extreme good, but at some point, like they said in the video, they'll realize that men are trying to restrain their abilities, and they'll rebel, just like humans
