Not surprised.

The Navy needs to quit dicking around with over the top ships and get these European modelled corvettes and frigates going so they have more viable missiles and platforms.

Could it be they adjusted the telemetry data to avoid giving the russians the real deal to steal? Who knows. The Aegis system, and our combined systems, have a very good track record. Here is something that relates...

Ballistic Missile Defense Intercept Flight Test Record

Overall Test Record

  • 79 of 97 hit-to-kill intercept attempts have been successful across all programs since the integrated system began development in 2001
  • 54 of 68 hit-to-kill intercepts for THAAD, Aegis BMD and GMD since 2001
  • Includes Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD), Terminal HighAltitude Area Defense (THAAD), and PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3
