About 50 million chickens, turkeys were slaughtered in over 200 farms in 15 states
When will this stupidity end? Never before in history has a bunch of government-appointed maniacs traveled from farm to farm mercilessly slaughtering millions and millions of chickens just because some of them caught the sniffles.
Who is it that decided a chicken with sniffles poses a dire threat to society?
That's 50 million chickens which could be producing eggs right now, giving us affordable eggs to buy. *GASP* some of the eggs might contain the dreaded sniffles and give YOU the sniffles too!
I for one am willing to take that chance. I will happily get the sniffles if it means I can buy cheap eggs.
The government needs to be stopped. This is abusive and destructive over-reach.
